meltil (melissa) is a young artist based out of philadelphia. she recently graduated from muhlenberg college with a degree in music, theater, and studio art. meltil specializes in relief printing and also has experience with acrylic, watercolor, and gouache paints, as well as charcoal and pencil drawing.

melissa’s inspiration for her work comes from a variety of natural subjects ranging from live models, to food, to animals. she loves to draw her dog, luna, and also finds inspiration in different movies, music, and television shows.

she loves experimenting with different colors and textures. melissa’s goal of her work is to take her subjects and see how she could make them as bright and lively as possible with different color techniques.
